As an Legal Operations Specialist, Advertising & Promotions at BetterHelp, you’ll join a diverse team of licensed clinicians, engineers, product pros, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who share a passion for expanding access to therapy. What are we looking for?

BetterHelp is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven individual with a keen interest in marketing and compliance focused on consumer protection. As part of our rapidly expanding marketing organization, you will play a key role in supporting various operational tasks and ensuring compliance. Your responsibilities will include implementing processes to streamline marketing activities, coordinating between legal, partnerships, marketing, and external partners, and assisting the Legal team with daily tasks. What will you do?

  • Review Marketing Content: Assist in reviewing marketing and online content to ensure it meets compliance standards.
  • Support User Experience: Help improve and streamline user experience within the Salesforce ecosystem for internal teams.
  • Assist with Escalations: Support managers by coordinating with team members to address and resolve any issues or escalations.
  • Collaborate on Processes: Work with marketing teams and process owners to help develop and maintain processes, policies, and controls that ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  • Contribute to Projects: Aid the team with various special projects and tasks as needed.
  • Monitor Compliance: Assist in auditing marketing channels to ensure they comply with FTC/ASA regulations focused on consumer protection.

Can I work remotely?

Yes. We operate in Pacific Time and candidates in any time zone are welcome to apply. We also ask our employees to travel to our Mountain View, CA office up to three times per year and to one company offsite to collaborate in person in order to build better working relationships and experience our in-office culture. Travel expenses will be covered and reasonable accommodations will be made for those under unique circumstances who cannot travel.

Requirements

  • Remote work flexible, PST (Pacific Time) schedule.
  • Great written/verbal communication and interpersonal skill sets, able to connect with all management levels, internally and partner-facing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams and various stakeholders.
  • Core digital marketing disciplines basic knowledge, such as in Affiliate Marketing / SEO / Social Media / Email Marketing.
  • A multi-tasker, who works well in a fast-paced environment and can adapt and pivot quickly, with strong project management expertise and outstanding time management and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to address challenging issues while remaining objective.
  • Ability to work in the US, to travel to our Mountain View, California offices up to three times per year and to an additional company offsite.

The salary range for this remote contract position is $35-$40/hour.
