About The Opportunity

This position will be accountable for sales and top-line revenue in two(2) WeWork buildings in Busan, Korea by driving new sales and renewals of co-working offices. This role has two main areas of responsibility: 

Direct Sales, including: 

  • Owning the full sales cycle for the offices of two (2) WeWork buildings : WeWork Seomyeon and WeWork BIFC in Busan, Korea  with new and renewing members. This involves pitching, touring, negotiating, and executing contracts 

  • Working with your team leader, Portfolio Directors seating in Seoul, Korea on the full sales cycle for two buildings in Busan

  • Working with All Access Sales team and/or Inside Sales team for All Access product sales in Busan, Korea

  • Working with WeWork Workplace Sales team for our workplace management SaaS product in Busan, Korea

Content Expertise, including: 

  • Customer: understanding the WeWork potential customers, industry, market trends, in a various type and size, such as  startups, SMB companies, enterprise companies, global companies, and government agencies in Busan, Korea

  • Startups Ecosystem: understanding Busan’s startups ecosystem such as VC, startups accelerators, company builders, Busan government’s startup funding/supporting programs in Busan, Korea

  • Commercial Office Real Estate: understanding commercial office real estate market, brokerage ecosystem in Busan, Korea

  • Market: knowing the “ins and out” of assigned buildings as a whole and the local sub-market, inclusive of local attractions, changing trends, nearby competitors, and pricing 

  • Product: knowing the “ins and outs” of WeWork’s dedicated spaces, All Access and WeWork Workplace value proposition & platform 

  • Community: building and maintaining relationships with members / potential new members and key internal teams (e.g., Community teams, Facilities teams)

  • Deal structure: ability to creatively structure deals to optimize sales outcomes and understanding how different deal structures relate to WeWork’s overall business objectives 

About You

  • 2 to 5 years full cycle quota carrying direct sales experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Ability or willingness to learn to use WeWork data systems to produce reports on building & sub-market / market performance 

  • Quantitative aptitude to optimize sales outcomes, conduct analyses for internal stakeholders

  • Quick learner and excited to learn about the real estate industry 

  • Strong interpersonal skills and presence

  • Entrepreneurial & resilient mindset

  • Business level fluency in English
