Career Karma is looking for a Sales Development Representative to join our Learning Success Team, who will help people who are seeking career advice and looking to attend coding boot camps. SDR will support them as they learn about job training programs through our platform and recommend them
You’ll be making calls, sending text messages, and finding creative ways to make new joiners of our community happy while constantly thinking of ways to increase our response times and service levels. We're looking for teammates who are hungry to make a positive impact in people’s lives and grow with our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to new joiners through phone and texting to understand their career aspirations and assess their interests and skills.
- Identify and recommend the best training programs based on the individual's needs and preferences and support them through the application process.
- Build and maintain relationships with new joiners and guide them through the enrollment process.
- Evaluate qualitative and quantitative data to optimize sales processes and fine-tune strategies.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to improve processes and achieve team goals.
Skills you need to bring:
- Fluent in American English.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to listen actively and ask probing questions to understand people’s needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective in phone and texting communication.
- Forward-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving mindset with strong attention to detail
- Proactive, takes charge and responsibility for meeting goals and targets.
- Passion for developing people and leading and managing high-performing teams.
- Prior experience working in Sales and customer-centered role
- Ability to work US time zone
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of coding bootcamps and the technology industry is a plus.
