We are currently looking for a Learning Materials Developer - Deutsch für Gesundheitsberufe (all genders) based in Germany.
Your mission with us:
As a Learning Material Developer at DigEd B2B Health you will play a crucial role in advancing the organization's mission of continuously improving and expanding Lingoda's range of courses for foreign professionals. This role involves creating, revising, and ensuring the quality of learning materials for specialized content and language instruction, particularly in fields of healthcare professions. By leveraging instructional design principles and language education expertise, the Learning Material Developer contributes to enhancing the effectiveness and relevance of Lingoda's educational offerings, ultimately supporting the professional development and language proficiency of learners in the healthcare sector.
Your tasks:

Curriculum Development: Design curriculum content for language education programs, including setting learning objectives, designing new learning experiences, and evaluating educational outcomes.

Course Development: Collaborate with the DigEd B2B Health team to develop new course offerings, focusing on specialized health curriculums. This includes producing and proofreading live lessons / self-learning material.

Optimization & Maintenance of Existing Courses: Enhance and maintain the learning experience & materials of current courses by revamping live classes and modules according to predefined objectives, students’, teachers’ and clients’ needs.

Specialist Support: Provide specialized support for other B2B (Health) projects as required, including consulting internal and external stakeholders on didactical and health-related topics and assisting with additional tasks as needed.

Material Maintenance: Capability to update and maintain learning materials to meet students', teachers', and clients' needs while remaining accurate, inclusive, and up-to-date.

Consultation and Collaboration: Act as a consultant and collaborator to other teams requiring expertise in foreign language learning, sharing knowledge and contributing to Lingoda's learning vision.

Teacher Support: Understand the perspective of teachers and provide expert knowledge on foreign language teaching to promote teacher quality and engagement within the Lingoda community.

Industry Awareness: Stay informed about developments in the wider language education landscape to remain relevant and effective in the role.
You bring to Lingoda:

Language Skills: Proficiency in German at native-like level (C2) and excellent English skills (C1+); knowledge of additional languages like French and Spanish is advantageous.

Educational Background: Degree or certification in language-related fields such as Linguistics, Philology, or equivalent qualification.

Experience: Demonstrated experience as a language instructor and/or in adult education, with a solid understanding of foreign language didactics in theory and practice.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and other specialized software for developing visually appealing learning materials.

Attention to Detail: Strong grammar, phonetics, and orthography skills, with the ability to proofread and edit texts accurately.

Creativity: Ability to create engaging and interactive language exercises and materials tailored to different proficiency levels.

Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly, honestly, and in a timely manner within the team and with other stakeholders, considering individual perspectives and needs.

Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with language education for medical professionals or other specialized fields is desirable, as well as experience in the editorial sector, particularly in German as a Foreign Language (DaF).
