Learning & Development Program Manager

As an L&D Specialist at Pendo, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our workforce by designing and delivering exceptional learning experiences and programs. You will partner closely with cross-functional teams to create innovative learning solutions that drive employee development and career growth. This role will report to the Senior Manager of Learning and Development. 

Responsibilities:

  • New Hire Onboarding:
    • Design and facilitate a world-class onboarding experience that welcomes new hires, creates a sense of belonging and accelerates their time to impact.
    • Partner with HR and department leaders to ensure a seamless onboarding process.
  • Performance and Development:
    • Measure the effectiveness of training programs through learner feedback and performance metrics.
    • Identify performance gaps and develop targeted training solutions to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
    • Coach and mentor employees to support their career growth and development.
    • Partner with HR to build a performance-driven culture emphasizing continuous learning and improvement.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the organization.
  • Presentation Discovery and Design:
    • Gather data and input from the business to understand learning needs and priorities.
    • Develop and deliver engaging and impactful training presentations for workshops aligned with Pendo's business objectives and learning strategies.
    • Incorporate technology and digital tools to enhance the learning experience and drive learner engagement
    • Leverage various instructional methods (live, virtual, asynchronous) to deliver in-person and virtual learning sessions 

Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in Learning and Development, Org Design, or Consulting. 
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering training programs for a variety of audiences.
  • Proven experience in org design and change management.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and driving change initiatives.
  • Experience building visual presentations and delivering to large groups.
  • Experience with learning management systems.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships and collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels.
  • Models a passion for learning and development that inspires others.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the technology industry.
  • Experience in Skilljar, Workday, 15Five and Gsuite.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Experience with performance consulting and coaching.
  • Ability to leverage data and analytics to inform learning strategy and improve program effectiveness.

Compensation

Our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry, and are one part of many compensation, benefits and other reward opportunities we provide.

The expected salary range for this role to be performed in Raleigh, NC is $100,000 - $105,000.

Individual pay rate decisions, including offers made within and over the expected salary range, are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
