Summary:
The Learning and Development Facilitator is responsible for delivering engaging training programs that support the professional growth and development of employees and leaders in every function across the organization. This role plays a crucial part in building a culture of continuous learning and driving organizational success through effective knowledge transfer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate instructor-led training sessions, both virtual and face-to-face, workshops, and seminars using a variety of instructional methods and techniques to ensure effective learning.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather relevant content and ensure the accuracy and relevance of training materials.
- Incorporate adult learning principles, multimedia tools, and interactive activities to create an engaging and immersive learning experience.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms, to support the necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records of training activities, participant attendance, and completion rates.
- Provide coaching and guidance to learners, as needed, to reinforce learning and support their development.
Partner with instructional designers to share feedback and to update materials, content, and experiences.
Leadership Development Facilitation
- Deliver and partner in the design of leadership development programs tailored to different levels of leadership (emerging leaders, new leaders, and mid-level managers).
- Facilitate leadership training sessions focused on developing critical competencies such as strategic thinking, decision-making, emotional intelligence, communication, and team leadership.
- Incorporate experiential learning activities, case studies, and role-playing exercises, and other interactivity to enhance the learning experience for leadership programs.
- Stay current with leadership trends, theories, and best practices to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of leadership development offerings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in training, facilitation, or instructional design roles.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency in creating engaging and visually appealing training materials using various software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, e-learning authoring tools).
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify training needs and develop effective solutions.
- Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
