We are seeking a dynamic Learning & Development Consultant to support our Learning & Development (L&D) function. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our learning systems, tracking certifications, driving engagement, and supporting internal training initiatives and delivery of training content. This is a hybrid opportunity based out of our Version 1 Bengalaru Technology Hub. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a proven background in L&D or talent management who wants to continue and grow their career and passion for talent development.
Key Responsibilities
Learning Management Systems (LMS) Administration
- Manage and maintain LMS platforms (e.g., Brainier, Talentguard), with scope to optimise processes and implement innovative solutions.
- Generate reports, maintain dashboards, and track certification progress (e.g., AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, Snowflake).
- Ensure user permissions and access are managed accurately, aligning with best practices.
- Collaborate with the Head of L&D to create and refine a skills taxonomy within the pathway system.
Content Development and Maintenance
- Support the creation, updating, and maintenance of engaging learning materials, manuals, and other educational resources.
- Assist in recording and delivering training content, either in-person or pre-recorded, with opportunities to propose new formats and delivery methods.
- An interest in continuous improvement; seeking different ways we can create learning solutions, proactively looking for improvements we can make to learning implemented.
Engagement and Communication
- Drive participation in peer-learning initiatives and develop innovative strategies to enhance engagement.
- Strengthen communication with teams, line managers, and practice heads to ensure transparency and oversight of training participation.
- Plan and communicate effectively to ensure timely completion of mandatory and refresher training programmes.
- Contribute to broader Learning and Development initiatives, offering creative solutions to improve processes and outcomes.
Talent Development Support
- Assist the Head of Learning & Development in designing and delivering talent development programmes and internal training initiatives.
- Provide detailed reporting and analytics to measure the impact of training, identifying areas for improvement and proposing innovative metrics or tools.
- This role offers extensive opportunities to develop new solutions, establish best practices, and drive innovation within the Learning & Development function.
- Understand at a professional level through qualification or experience how adult learning theories link to company training programme success
System Management and Reporting
- Use Excel or Google Sheets and other digital tools proficiently to manage data, track progress, and generate actionable insights.
- Maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail in all reporting activities, while innovating systems to improve efficiency and clarity.
Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience with a proven track record in content design and skills taxonomy within a Learning & Development or Talent Management role, demonstrating an ability to introduce new ideas and enhance processes.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in managing LMS systems (e.g., Brainier, Talentguard) and enhancing platform functionality.
- Advanced Excel skills for comprehensive reporting and analytics.
- Familiarity with cataloguing and managing certifications through external partners.
- Competence in digital content creation and management.
- Knowledge of certifications from AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, or Snowflake.
