Position Summary 

The Learning and Development Coach I will be a key contributor in developing, directing and  monitoring strategies aimed at supporting Right At School’s impact. The primary role function will be  to shape and implement strategies, programs and initiatives related to creating innovation-driven,  efficiency-obsessed solutions while maintaining effective team member engagement and supporting field  operations and central office team members. Specifically, the role will be responsible for coaching field and central office staff ,so they can provide quality programming and operational excellence  to meet the needs of the students, families, schools, and districts we serve. 

As a Learning and Development Coach I every day is different! However, typical  duties will include: 

Professional Learning and Development:

● Assist in the creation, facilitation & maintenance of all current and future training modalities  including: e-learning courses, microlearning content, job aids, VILTs, live training support  materials, workshops, etc. addressing the needs of field employees and field leaders ensuring  learning is interactive and engaging.  

● Support the facilitation and implementation of Right At School trainings including, but not  limited to: Field Leader onboarding, learning partnerships, just-in-time live support, inclusion  training, peer learning, central office training sessions, Fall & Virtual Live Training, etc. 

● Partner with the greater T&D Team in using the ADDIE framework to evaluate current e-learning  content and organizational development needs to identify areas of opportunity to enhance the  learning process and learning retention for employees. 

●  Provide asset collection for training materials including videos, photos, testimonials, etc. 

 ● Support managing our LMS which includes answering and troubleshooting learner questions,  technical accessibility, reviewing pay and status reports, auditing assignments, managing  registrations and professional development programs.  

● Provide leadership, coaching and guidance to Right At School team members who will lead  training and program quality initiatives. 

Program Quality 

● Support the field & lead the charge for program quality in all of Right At School's product  offerings (Right Club, Early Adventures, Recess, Jr. Right Club, KinderWrap, Middle School, etc.)  including new district/site support, program pilots, & new training initiatives with a focus on  safety & joyful programming. 

● Coach others and/or travel to markets to model program quality best practices in order to  replicate and implement in their respective regions, scaling impact  

●  Ensure that quality standards are achieved and opportunities to optimize program operations are  applied. 

● Support program assessments to identify effectiveness of established programs.

● Other duties as assigned as business needs dictate (e.g. supporting various projects, travel 

to  support live training, recommending policy, etc.).

We recognize you’ll come with your own talents and skills. In addition, please come with:

  • 3+ years experience of learning and development experience, including a background in coaching and facilitation
  • 3+ years experience in education settings such as after school, enrichment, etc.
  • Prior experience as an Area Manager with RAS or similar experience working with multi-unit operations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required 
  • Knowledge of learning theories and adult learning principles 
  • Proficient with a variety of course development software, authoring tools, multimedia training  platforms and methods, and visual design 
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
