The Role: 

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Videographer to join our growing production team and lead the creation of high-quality video content that resonates with audiences and amplifies our clients messages.
You will be responsible for overseeing the entire video production process, from concept development through to final delivery. This role requires a creative visionary with strong leaderships skills, exceptional storytelling abilities, and a deep understanding of video production technique. As the Video Director, you will work closely with clients, creative teams, and production staff to create engaging and impactful video content across various platforms.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Collaborate with creative teams to help develop and conceptualise video projects that align with campaign ideas, client’s goals and brand strategies
  • Help create treatments that communicative creative vision effectively
  • Strong ability and experience in being able to deliver end to end. This includes Directing/Self-Shooting as well as all aspects of post production including being able to edit, sound design and colour grade effectively for key deliverables. 
  • Also have the ability to manage the entire production process, including pre-production, shooting, post-production, and final delivery, working with other crew/creators in the team when necessary
  • Be able to direct on-set activities, working with talent and a small crew to ensure the creative vision is executed effectively and efficiently
  • Oversee casting, location scouting, and set design where necessary to ensure production quality and consistency with the creative concept
  • Present concepts, storyboards and rough cuts to clients alongside creative teams, incorporating feedback and making necessary adjustments
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring satisfaction with the final product
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment, encouraging team members to contribute ideas and excel in their roles
  • Ensure clear communication and coordination among all team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
  • Review and approve all video content to ensure it meets the highest quality standards
  • Conduct thorough quality checks on all deliverables, including color grading, sound, design and visual effects
  • Identify and manage external vendors and freelancers as needed to support video production efforts
  • Delivering digital content for social media channels (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, X, TikTok and LinkedIn) in line with the campaign content strategy and brand guidelines.

Requirements: 

  • Extensive experience in a senior/lead role within Self-Shoot Directing and Videography with a strong portfolio of work in a creative environment
  • Proven experience shooting and directing a variety of video projects, including social media content, corporate videos, PR, events and branded entertainment
  • Strong team management abilities, with experience guiding and mentoring production teams
  • Excellent client management and communication skills
  • Highly experienced in all aspects of cinematography including lighting, sound capture and camera operation.
  • Proficient in video production software and tools, including Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator etc)
  • Strong understanding of current video production trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Creative problem-solving skills and proactive approach to challenges
  • Experienced pre production necessities such as camera hire booking, organising carnets for travel, creating kit lists for yourself or external crew such as gaffers and other day to day office tasks such as organising and backing up media
