About the Team:
Relativity’s Launch Infrastructure team oversees launch site design & build, ensures launch operation capabilities, and provides supporting new infrastructure projects, including recovery and refurbishment sites. This includes everything from gathering project requirements and conceptual designs to project execution and activating systems required for Terran R Launch. The Launch Infrastructure team works in close coordination with Launch Operations to ensure that all operational requirements are met and ready for flight. The team is actively working on designing and build Relativity’s next-generation launch site for Terran R
About the Role:
As a Launch Instrumentation and Controls, Technician Lead, you will be at the forefront of creating a world-class orbital launch site. To be successful in this role, you should be able to lead projects to completion, ideally coming from a fast-paced aerospace environment where you have completed challenging projects while collaborating effectively across various groups. The ability to perform high-quality work with minimal direction across all major technical disciplines is crucial. You should have extensive experience in installing, verifying, and troubleshooting sensors that measure temperature, pressure, flow, displacement, and vibration. Additionally, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, ordering, and driving tasks, as well as delegating work. Providing feedback and maintaining communication with the pad engineering team to prevent issues and enhance the pad build/activation process is also a key part of this role. The position requires the ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs. Ideally, you possess additional experience in a related technical discipline and familiarity with industry standards and practices.
