The WorkWave team is looking for skilled Software Engineers to build a team that will lead the backend development efforts of the RouteManager product. RouteManager is the routing solution developed by WorkWave. Our teams are a mix of technologists, product managers, development engineers, and UI/UX designers, all working together to deliver our vision. You will be a part of our WorkWave team, helping to develop & support the WorkWave products.
Responsibilities
- Develop features & services to support the field service industry
- Investigate and resolve defects, and refactor code to maintain quality
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Maintain high-quality software through unit test automation
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, or Computer Science
- 5+ years of experience with Java
- Proficiency in concurrent and multithreaded programming
- Proven track record in crafting efficient SQL queries and optimizing database performance
- Experience deploying web applications on AWS
- Proficient in working with UNIX environments
- Familiarity with Java Virtual Machine (JVM) Internals is a plus
- Understanding of fundamental networking principles is an advantage
- Familiarity with common software design patterns is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile software development processes and tools such as Jira
- Strong understanding of code complexity, efficiency, and performance optimization principles
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities
