Two Six Technologies is looking to add a Lead Software Engineer to our team building a next generation cyber defense situational awareness and command and control platform. In this role you would be working with our Core Team performing back-end development to both refactor existing server code in production and design and develop new code modules and microservices. The candidate should have a track record demonstrating the ability to research new technologies, document and propose designs to team members, quickly prototype solutions, and, ultimately, produce dependable and testable commercial-grade code. This position focuses on back-end development in Python 3 (Java experience is also desired) with SQL databases, various communication technologies (message queues, event streams like Kafka, etc.), and various API architectures such as REST and gRPC.
The work is hybrid and the selected candidate will be required to work in the office up to 4 days/week.
