We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Developer with a passion for Supply Chain Systems. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a proven ability to mentor development teams, work in Agile environments, and collaborate with business stakeholders to align technical solutions with strategic goals.
Technical Leadership:
- Lead design, development, and optimization of Supply Chain Systems (e.g., BlueYonder, BluJay, Llamasoft).
- Provide architectural oversight and technical direction to ensure best practices in design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Stay current with supply chain technologies, driving innovation within the team.
Team Collaboration & Mentorship:
- Mentor and coach developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative culture.
- Conduct code reviews, pair programming, and provide continuous feedback to ensure code quality.
- Guide developers in their career growth and understanding of supply chain systems.
Agile Development:
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
- Ensure development tasks are scoped, prioritized, and delivered on time.
- Work with Product Owners to ensure user stories and acceptance criteria are aligned with business needs.
Supply Chain Systems Expertise:
- Design and implement software solutions that improve supply chain efficiency.
- Apply best practices in demand planning, transportation, and inventory optimization.
- Collaborate with logistics, operations, and IT teams to align technical and business solutions.
Business Collaboration:
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical tasks.
- Ensure alignment of supply chain systems with enterprise platforms (e.g., ERP, CRM).
Project Management & Strategic Planning:
- Lead project planning and prioritization to meet business objectives.
- Identify risks in software development and propose solutions.
- Continuously improve development processes for efficiency and scalability.
Integration & Automation:
- Lead integration of supply chain systems with ERPs, CRMs, and WMS to streamline operations.
- Implement automation strategies to enhance supply chain performance.
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Expertise in supply chain systems (e.g., BlueYonder, BluJay, Llamasoft).
- Strong Agile experience and leadership in development teams.
- Proven ability to mentor developers and collaborate with business stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of databases, system integration, and supply chain processes.
- Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and microservices.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Experience with optimization algorithms in supply chain.
- Knowledge of ERP systems integration.
