We are searching for a Lead Service Proposal Manager, responsible for Direct Markets in Mexico, Central America, Caribbean, Ecuador and Peru ! Join our team now!
The preferred location for this position is Guadalajara where our main offices are located, however considering a remote solution for the ideal candidate.
Role Summary :
Support of all types of service deals during the ITO (inquiry to order) phase from initial inquiry to deal closure and hand over to subsequent functions for the Jenbacher Engine business.
Essential Responsibilities :
• Proposal development for TX Spares, Field Service Labor (preventive and corrective maintenance, commissioning, inspections, etc.) and MYA extra work for Jenbacher product line
• Provides global proposal support on technically complex offerings for sales and commercial teams in the regions
• Intensively works with Service operations, order management and engineering to clarify offering scope for quotations
• Focuses on cycle time and prioritization to drive win rate and speed of offerings
• Provides proposals and technical commercial support to Direct customers and Key Accounts to drive TX growth
• Sales support in various apects : technical, commercial, contractual, legal, support with IT tools
• Participation in complex deal negotiations
• ITO process specialist
Qualification Requirements :
• Engineering degree (electrical or mechanical) or technical or commercial bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
• Experience in a Sales & Commercial Operations role or Service Engineering role
• Deep technical knowledge of reciprocating engine technology and related services/operations
• Experience in elaborating complex technical and/or commercial tasks
• Experience in customer contact, customer- and sales oriented
• Used to work in process ortiented environment. Interdisciplinary thinking/acting
• Willingness to travel (5-10%)
• Fluency in Spanish and English (oral + written), further language beneficial
• Detail orientated, precise working style
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively operate in a matrix organization
• Strong IT skills (Oracle, sales-force) and good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Knowledge of Jenbacher products and service offerings a plus
