Purpose of the Role:

Reporting to the People Director, this role will play a leading role in shaping, managing, and overseeing our reward and benefits programs, ensuring our structure is fair, competitive, and aligned with the team’s strategic goals.


Key Accountabilities:

  • Develop a reward strategy that aligns with the team’s overall business goals, conducting market research to ensure we remain competitive to attract, retain, and engage our employees.
  • Manage the employee flexible benefits program, including health and wellbeing benefits, pension plans, holidays and paid time off, salary sacrifice initiatives and other flexible benefits. 
  • Implement performance-based bonuses, incentives, and merit-based pay increases.
  • Benchmark salaries and design and maintain salary bands and ranges for different job positions.
  • Conduct job evaluations to determine the relative value and complexity of different roles within the company, establishing fair and appropriate salary levels for each position.
  • Analyse internal compensation data and trends and make informed recommendations and adjustments.
  • Monitor reward practices through market trends and industry best practice.
  • Lead on the implementation of any new pay and employee benefit initiatives, providing advice and direction to all levels of employees and leaders across McLaren Racing.
  • Lead effective communication campaigns that promote our reward and benefits programs and investment in our people.
  • Collaborate with our finance team to establish and manage budgets for compensation and benefits programs.
  • Collaborate with third-party vendors to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues .
  • Ensure that all compensation and benefits programs comply with relevant employment laws and regulations.
