Job Overview
As the Lead Quality Assurance Engineer at IXT, your goal is to lead a QA team to deliver, keeping software quality and prove our insurance products. Since the requirements and user flow of each insurance products are slightly different, this person will be responsible for critical quality assurance activities during the product lifecycle, primarily including managing and overseeing the activities to ensure products meet user needs. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities:
- Lead a team and provide technical leadership.
- Designing and implementing QA infrastructure.
- Work with scrum teams to develop and implement testing strategies and roadmaps
- Work directly with local and remote teams.
- Analyze business requirements and formulate testing plans.
- Create & document detailed, and well-structured overall product quality plans based on specifications.
- Execute test cases manually and optimize automation testing coverage.
- Assist in integrating automated testing into Continuous Delivery pipelines. Including designing the pipelines.
- Document, reproduce, prioritize issues on the issue tracking system (e.g. Jira) and verify issue resolutions.
- Execute different types of testing: functional, exploratory, end-to-end, regression (e.g. Selenium), stress (e.g. JMeter), soak and security testing.
- Coordinate testing activities with other members of the team.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on software product testing experience
- Experience in leading a Quality Assurance team is preferred.
- Experience in building and managing automation and manual testing.
- Experience using Continuous Delivery pipelines to ensure product quality and rapid releases.
- Effective interpersonal & communication skills, energetic, proactive.
- Attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to work on Windows and Mac environments.
- Ability to design and build test plans using QA related tools (Selenium, Python, JMeter and the like).
Plus
- Experience testing mission-critical financial systems.
- Scripting skills such as Perl & Python.
- Ability to troubleshoot using SQL, Linux, network tools.
