The Role

We’re looking for a passionate, strategic and customer-obsessed Lead Product Marketer who can help drive new initiatives forward. You would be responsible for partnering with our Product and CS teams to shape strategy and identify new opportunities, as well leading go-to-market strategy and execution with cross-functional partners. The right candidate can tease out customers’ real needs, develop data-driven business cases for action, create compelling narratives for our customers, and evangelize new products throughout the broader GTM organization. You can easily pivot from strategy to get-it-done mode.

Responsibilities

  • Drive global go-to-market strategy for new products and features across Australia, UK and US markets. Including competitive analysis, messaging and positioning, sales enablement and customer communications
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders during the go-to-market process to ensure the business is ready to sell, support and market the product or feature at the time of launch 
  • Develop deep market, and customer insight to inform the portfolio roadmap and business & marketing strategies
  • Lead efforts to validate future product and feature concepts through customer interviews, research, and analysis of user data
  • Partner closely with product management and business leaders to prioritize the product roadmap
  • Develop opportunity assessments and business cases to drive product growth
  • Be the voice of the customer by developing deep insights about customers, global trends and competitors to shape marketing, sales, and product strategy, as well as the future roadmap
  • Act as a strategic partner to your counterparts in product, business development, sales and marketing
  • Work closely with Product Managers to identify needs and sharpen product offerings based on feedback from customers, sales, and competitive offerings

Qualifications and Requirements

  • BS/BA degree preferred
  • 5-8 years of experience in relevant product, marketing or strategic insights roles
  • Direct product marketing experience with a track record of driving rapid growth of innovative technologies (SaaS marketing a major plus) 
  • Ability to position innovative products and tell compelling stories through messaging briefs and marketing collateral; experience creating sales narratives and pushing out narratives through a sales team
  • Demonstrated success and passion for collecting and using customer insight to drive strategic decisions
  • Experience sizing and prioritizing market opportunities and building business cases
  • Top-notch analytical experience. Comfortable collecting and analyzing data from sources like Salesforce and surveys
  • Excellent communicator with the ability to influence in a highly cross-functional, matrixed organization comprising Sales, Marketing, Product, Finance, Support, and Customer Success teams
  • Exceptional time and project management skills. Ability to manage multiple components of a project, keeping all contributors on pace with deliverables and ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of outcomes
  • Is a team player and collaborates effectively with team members and cross-functional partners alike 
  • HR/Workforce Management technology experience a plus, but not required

The pay range for this position takes into account multiple factors that are all considered to determine an individual candidate’s starting pay. These factors include but are not limited to: market factors, experience, technical and non-technical skills, education, certifications, and other business acumen. This range does not include any potential incentive programs, such as individual or organizational performance bonuses. 

For candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, the pay range for this position is $153,000 - $163,000.

For candidates based outside San Francisco Bay Area or New York City, the pay range for this position is $139,000 - $148,000.
