Lead Product Designer

Job Overview

The Product Designer plays an important role in GOJ's growing Experience practice to help our clients unlock customer experience success through human-centered interface design combined with cutting-edge creativity. They will support defining and applying the GOJ standard of quality UI design that connects forms and functions to solve actual user problems of digital products and services. 

Key Accountabilities

  • Designing cutting-edge digital products & experiences by creating UI, design systems, and prototypes
  • Presenting design work, articulating design decisions, and gathering feedback from Product Design lead and internal project stakeholders, and recommending the best actions with a solid understanding of business priority, user needs, and tech constraints
  • Collaborating with BAs, Developers, and PMs to advise and assess the solution and quality of digital product implementation. 

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Design or related area 
  • Master of digital product design tools - Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD 
  • Prototyping skills (Figma, Framer, Protopie, or in Code) are required. 
  • Advanced Knowledge in Design Systems/Component-Based Design + Documentation (Figma, Zero Height, Storybook, Jira/Confluence, etc.) 
  • Understands brand and has the confidence to augment a brand guideline with digital identity and languages, patterns, and behaviors 
  • Proven hands-on UX experience a plus (user flows, information architecture, user testing, etc.) 
  • Deep understanding of business needs and requirements from clients across various industries 
  • Understand tech constraints for design (AEM, Sitecore, Drupal, etc.) 
  • Experience/Knowledge in tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Protopie
