Your role

As a product designer at Alchemy, you’ll be at the frontier of web3 design, crafting exceptional experiences for users. You’ll play a central role in pioneering how people interact with blockchain, impacting millions. Working closely with peer designers, product managers, and engineers, you’ll translate complex technical problems into simple, delightful solutions.

This role requires a unique combination of curiosity, craftsmanship, and a collaborative spirit to transform Alchemy’s products into industry-defining experiences.

What you’ll be building

  • Embedded wallet flows for signup, transaction signing, fiat onramps, account recovery UI’s and more
  • Cross-app wallets and innovative SSO login flows — creating a frictionless experience for crypto consumers around the globe
  • Seamless checkout experiences that blend the ease and familiarity of Web2 (think Shopify, Stripe) with the powerful capabilities of Web3
  • Redefine Wallet UX with cutting-edge technology including account abstraction, smart accounts, passkeys, session keys, and gas sponsorship
  • Decentralized identity solutions, such as ENS names and universal login - create a secure, user-first web3 that champions privacy and seamless access
  • User flows across all platforms: desktop, mobile web, iOS, and Android

Key Responsibilities

  • Craft cohesive experiences: Partner with engineers, PMs, and designers to create a consistent, engaging user experience across products
  • Innovate in web3: Tackle web3 challenges, set new standards, and explore fresh approaches for top-tier developer and user experiences
  • Deliver impactful designs: Move from sketches to high-fidelity prototypes, guiding development to bring designs to life
  • Champion the user: Prioritize simplicity, accessibility, and user-centered design in all decisions
  • Conduct user research: Engage directly with users and developers to gather insights that drive smart, data-backed design

What We’re Looking For

Our ideal designer will:

  • Be customer-focused: Dive into user insights, join customer calls, and keep up with industry trends to stay user-focused
  • Balance requirements and tradeoffs: Turn feedback into solutions, making smart tradeoffs to meet core needs
  • Bring designs to life: Explore creative ideas, gather input, and refine designs with a keen eye for detail

Core Skills

  • Strong design craft: Create polished, user-friendly interfaces
  • Empathy for customers: Seek to understand user needs, and filter meaningful insights from feedback
  • Collaborative spirit: Work closely with engineers, PMs, and designers to foster a connected, communicative team

Experience and skills

  • 6 - 10+ years of proven product design experience in cross-functional, fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency in Figma, interaction design, and visual design
  • Passion for Web3: Interest and curiosity about Web3 are key, with a commitment to learning and innovating within the space
  • Creativity in simplifying complexity and a knack for solving design challenges in new, impactful ways
  • Project ownership: Take full ownership of projects from concept to execution, ensuring high-quality design output
