We’re seeking an exceptional and visionary Lead Producer / Production Director to spearhead our production teams and elevate our game development environment to new heights. The main responsibility will be managing the processes and teams in the central part of the RED organization in order to support multiple various projects at the same time; AAA productions and much more. This position also allows to work on game development and infrastructure investments like, for example; our own Mocap and recording studios.
This position is based in our headquarters in Warsaw, and we will provide comprehensive relocation support to ensure a comfortable move for you and your family.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Cooperate with our leadership and cross-functional and cross-project development teams, ensuring alignment with our vision and goals.
- Work closely with AAA teams projects in order to align and deliver best support possible.
- Being the mentor and leader for the producers working in the central part of RED.
- Form and nurture cohesive, high-performing teams that are empowered to self-organize and achieve outstanding results.
- Lead from the front. Encourage collaborative relationships, provide safe areas to grow ideas, and remain flexible and adaptable.
- Oversee and enhance production processes, including project planning, scoping, scheduling, roadmaps, and requirements gathering, ensuring optimal efficiency.
- Identify and address bottlenecks and queues, fostering incremental delivery with frequent integration.
- Establish, maintain, and enhance relationships with external partners.
- Ensure that vision and goals are clearly defined, transparent, and understood at all levels of the organization.
- Advocate for actionable and beneficial improvements, challenging the status quo with bravery and innovation.
- Visualize, prioritize, and systematically remove waste and impediments, encouraging teams to own and solve their own challenges.
- Lead the growth of our teams in both size and quality through dedicated coaching and mentoring, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
- At least 7 years of experience as a manager working in the scale of hundreds of people.
- Deep leadership experience in building and growing teams of producers or projects managers
- Proven ability to effectively collaborate across teams involved in the game development lifecycle.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams, preferably in an Agile environment, with a focus on team empowerment and self-organization.
- Deep understanding of the technical limitations and pipelines in the game development process, along with knowledge of technical engineering best practices such as test-driven development, continuous integration, and DevOps.
- Deep knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools, enabling efficient project management and collaboration.
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a positive and constructive attitude.
- Proficiency in using project management tools to streamline production processes.
- A genuine passion for games and a deep understanding of the gaming industry.
Nice to have
- At least 7 years of experience as a Producer in game development, with a proven track record of leading successful projects.
- Experience in the development and shipping of AAA titles, showcasing the ability to manage large-scale projects.
