Lead - Manufacturing

You’ll be part of the Process Engineering team. 

This team runs on coffee, line layouts, and work instructions, and lives for the challenge of figuring out how to produce and validate the e^pack, e^pump, e^port, and e^plug.

What you will do:

As the Lead - Manufacturing, you will own and drive all decisions around manufacturing and scale and implementing them on the production line and proving the production processes to deliver scalable production of various Exponent products.

Responsibillities:

• Own make vs buy decision making for all products that are part of the Exponent energy stack
• Drive DFX based feedback, specifically on DFA and DFM for all make parts as well as provide interaction DFA/DFM for buy parts.
• Establish AICTQs for all make parts/sub-assemblies
• Own PFMEA and establish the correct process parameter <> design parameter correlations to establish a control plan
• Develop manufacturing strategy and design lines, stations and operating procedures for each product in the exponent stack to deliver QCD targets
• Establish vendor relations, prove out line and station concepts and establish standard production lines including proving them out to established benchmarks

The ideal candidate requires:

• 10 years of manufacturing engineering experience
• Knowledge of automotive assembly processes and systematic problem-solving tools such as FMEAs, DoEs
