The Team

The Machine Learning team, part of the Business Intelligence and Analytics team, develops AI-driven solutions that improve business decision-making by leveraging both internal and external data. Our goal is to provide actionable insights across all sectors (Management, Finance, Sales, Risk, etc.) through cutting-edge ML and AI techniques, integrated seamlessly into the broader business intelligence ecosystem, using Azure cloud services.

We are looking for a highly experienced and motivated Lead Machine Learning Engineer to join our BI teams and guide our team of ML Engineers in designing, developing and deploying innovative AI and ML solutions that integrate with the rest of the company's BI Ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

• Guide, inspire and manage a team of ML Engineers in developing and deploying innovative AI and ML solutionsusing machine learning frameworks and Azure cloud technologies (Azure ML, Azure AI, etc.);
• Work closely with the rest of the BI teams to identify and prioritize ML opportunities;
• Understand business needs, define data requirements, and design data pipelines;
• Develop, train, and optimize machine learning models using the latest AI/ML libraries and deploy them through Azure ML Pipelines;
• Design and implement automated, scalable machine learning solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing BI infrastructure;
• Leverage Azure AI services (Azure AI Search, Azure OpenAI models) to build advanced AI solutions;
• Drive continuous improvement by integrating best practices, monitoring models in production, and retraining them using MLOps principles on Azure;
• Stay up to date on the latest AI/ML trends and emerging technologies and apply them to our solutions;
• Collaborate with other teams across the company to ensure that our solutions are aligned with the overall business strategy;
• Create and maintain documentation and deliver technical training and support materials to enable AI/ML adoption across the organization;
• Continually advance technical knowledge and skills;
• Perform tasks in an efficient & timely manner.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar position, with a focus on AI and ML technologies;
• 2+ years of experience in team leading;
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Machine Learning or similar;
• Proficiency in machine learning programming languages (Python, R, SQL), and experience with cloud-based ML solutions;
• Solid experience in designing and deploying ML models in production environments, preferably in Azure;
• Excellent analytical and good problem-solving skills with a can-do attitude;
• The ability to perform in a team environment and share knowledge;
• Knowledge of agile methodologies and version control systems such as Git;
• Fluent in English, both oral and written.

The following would be considered a plus:

• Experience in designing cloud solutions (Azure or other);
• Experience in designing end-to-end AI solutions using Azure AI Services.
