Our client, developers of one of the top world famous iOS apps on the Apple AppStore, is looking for a Lead iOS Engineer to join them, adding features and capabilites that will transform the educational space.
This is a hands-on role that will predominantly involve native iOS development experience in Swift, SwiftUI & UIKit.
What you will do:
- Lead in the architecture and design of scalable, easily maintainable solutions to allow development of features and support greater users
- Play a key role in shaping technical roadmaps
- Prioritise features and improvements based on business objectives and technical feasibility
- Conduct regular design and code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and maintain code quality
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards, tooling, and processes
- Identify areas for optimisation and implement solutions to enhance team productivity and code quality
What you will need:
- 10 years+ Swift programming experience with a strong knowledge of design patterns, architectural principles, and best practices
- Good command of English, as the teams are spread throughout Asia and Europe
- Experience prioritisating, delegating, planning, and executing tasks
- Knowledge of using data to understand user behaviour and product usage, able to identify opportunities to drive growth and engagement
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders.
- Experience cross-compiling codebase on different mobile platforms
