As a Lead QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing testing practices, fostering collaboration across teams, establishing QA guidelines, advancing test automation, and driving continuous improvement to ensure high-quality standards and efficiency in the Frontend area and beyond.
Responsibilities:

Optimize Testing Practices: Streamline existing testing within FE Core teams to eliminate redundancies and ensure cost-effective testing methods.

Improve Team Collaboration: Enhance cooperation between QA, Development, Business Analysts, and Product Owners. Establish clear inter-team agreements to reduce unnecessary retesting.

QA Guidelines: Develop clear guidelines for engineers on choosing testing approaches, starting with Frontend Core and expanding to other areas.

Test Automation: Integrate and optimize test automation in development and release processes. Provide guidelines on automation practices and improve test pipelines.

Continuous Improvement: Continually assess and refine QA practices and automation strategies to maintain high-quality standards and efficiency.
- BSc in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5 years experience in software testing.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, CSS, and HTML is a prerequisite.
- Understanding of test automation and how to use it effectively.
- Understanding of software development processes, stages, concepts, and methodologies of Quality Assurance.
- Experience managing a team.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills, and attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
We will appreciate the following:
- Familiarity with TypeScript, React, Storybook, WebdriverIO, Cucumber, and BrowserStack is advantageous.
- Experience with Cypress, Playwright, visual testing, mobile testing, and similar tools/frameworks would be highly valued.
