Requirements

LEAD FOREMAN: This is where you come in. 

We’re looking for a Lead Foreman to execute of all sheet metal, refrigeration piping and equipment startup in the MMFS Service Special Projects North Sound region. You will own the successful turnover of each project by working with all MacDonald-Miller personnel and customers, providing technical advice, bid assistance and seeing that all work is performed to MMFS standards. In return for achieving aggressive goals, you’ll get rewarded with more to own, a ton of growth opportunities, and more freedom than you’ve probably ever had.

Execute with Distinction: 

  • Prioritize efficiency and quality. 
  • Identify and report on any deficiencies found and ways to streamline methods  

Customer and Business Partnership: 

  • Work as a partner with Account Executives and Service AOM 
  • Be in the “Yes Business”. 

Field Support: 

  • Provide guidance for retrofitting and installing HVAC equipment and systems. 
  • Participate in Technical Training Committee meetings and engage with vendors on factory certification classes to keep yourself and the team’s technical expertise current. 

Operational Delivery and Improvement: 

  • Perform Journey-level sheet metal, piping and startup work as needed while your area grows.

  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following and enforcing site Safety standards and procedures. 

The Lead Foreman role reports to Tim Felton - SPTI Superintendent on a collaborative team working on a variety of projects and initiatives to support our growing business. This highly visible role interacts with all levels and functions within the organization. 

Your Background: What kind of person will thrive in this role? 

You should have… 

  • A minimum of 10 years experience in the Mechanical Industry 
  • 06A license and EPA 608 certification preferred 
  • Knowledge in LEAN Processes as well as intermediate computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Sharepoint)

Benefits

Compensation and Benefits: Salary and benefits will be administered by the local union. This role is anticipated to pay $130,000-$160,000 annually.

Your base office will be our Everett Office located at 11512 Airport Rd suite f-700, Everett, WA 98204.
