The Role
Veeva OpenData Commercial supports our life science customers by providing real-time reference data across the complete healthcare ecosystem, to support their commercial sales execution, compliance, and business analytics.
The platform is live in 100+ countries and, as Lead Data Operations, you will supervise a remote team of Data Stewards who source, validate and update regional healthcare data. Along with your team you will drive impact by opening new territories as our product offering continues to expand.
As the ideal candidate for this role you will have a strong interest in people management, a process-oriented mindset, and an excellent work ethic.
What You'll Do
- Lead a team of 15 - 20 Data Stewards
- Design, document, innovate and optimize processes to ensure best-in-class delivery of data quality and efficiency
- Deliver on the team targets (quality, productivity, efficiency)
- Grow and develop your team
- Responsible for team process improvement, innovation, and team development
- Support additional projects and ad-hoc tasks related to Data Stewards
Requirements
- 2+ years of leading and managing high-performance teams
- Fluent in English and French
- Strong interest in people management
- Process and result-oriented mindset
- Highly conscientious (organized, analytical, “can do” attitude)
- Proficiency in Windows, Google Apps, MS Office, and other office software Highly organized, attention to detail and focus on quality
Nice to Have
- Experience working with MDM (master data management applications)
- Local Health Care market understanding
- Previous experience or interest in data, databases

Compensation

Base pay: $40,000 - $70,000 CAD
- The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
