Reporting into Head of Custom Analytics, the role part of our Marketing Services Team, focused on data analyses. Leading and working with the team, you will blend further a knowledge of mathematical, analytical or spatial techniques with a natural curiosity for understanding and analysing data.
What you'll do?
- Provide mentoring to Analysts in the team;
- Support the recruitment process;
- Support PFG review calibration process;
- Ensure projects are delivered right;
- Support shaping and refinement of projects.
- Ensure knowledge transfer of analysis (interpretation; justification; methods).
- Be an escalation point for Analysts to resolve scheduling conflicts;
- Ensure all work is process checked and sense checked following team checking guidelines;
- Produce high quality presentations and reports to demonstrate the analytical process, findings and conclusions. Comfortable presenting to the audience, explaining complex information to Analysts and non-Analysts.
- Develop an understanding of the digital products within the context of the customer experience.
What you'll bring:
- Degree with high mathematical / technical / analytical content;
- People management or mentoring experience;
- Experience scoping, managing, and delivering custom analytical projects using a range of descriptive and predictive methods;
- Experienced user of at least one analytical program, such as Alteryx or SAS;
- Proficient in the use of MS excel (can perform complex functions);
- Experience interpreting analysis outputs, providing insight and making recommendations;
- Proficient in advanced analytical methods, such as modelling and segmentation;
Desirable
- Knowledge of any of the following programs / languages; SAS, Alteryx, R, SPSS, VBA, SQL, WPS, ArcGIS, or Python.
