Lead Consultant in Finance - Global Consulting Delivery

The Global Consulting Delivery (GCD) organization of IFS is on the lookout for dynamic and open-minded individuals to join as a Lead Consultant in Finance. You will be part of a global team dedicated to design, develop and support tailor-made solutions to specific business requirements of IFS customers.

As a Lead Consultant in Finance, you will be at the forefront of Consulting projects working directly with IFS customers on Cutting Edge Industry Solutions in industries such as Aerospace and Defense, Energy, Utilities and Resources, Construction and Engineering, Manufacturing, Services Industries & Telecommunications. Furthermore, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with geographically distributed teams around the globe which will give you international exposure to project implementation and commercial execution.

The Lead Consultant is required to have the right competencies in order to advise and guide the customer, listen and challenge in order to understand the customer’s real needs, and advise the customer in their usage of their IFS Products. It is imperative for the Lead Consultant to stay engaged with the customer or partner as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in a specific area and offer their expertise to colleagues, partners and the Customer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead our customers to achieve optimum utilization of IFS application features within their business flows.
• Identify and bridge the gap between the customer’s business requirements and IFS products.
• Be confident in solution designing, challenging, and advising customers and delivering expectations while ensuring success for both parties.
• Involve throughout entire project life cycle to address customer’s key requirements and to conduct customer trainings and workshops.
• Profoundly interest in how systems can support business processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of existing IFS Products, processes, and methodology.
• Work with distributed global teams while engaging with requirement owners and other stakeholders.

Essentials:

• Minimum of 5 years working experience in IFS Applications / in ERP consultant capacity OR 7+ years experience in a Finance related industry.
• An academic background with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or a professional qualification in CIMA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills and strategic thinking.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including stakeholder management, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Excellent business communication and presentation skills along with the ability to apply expertise & technology to achieve work objectives.
• Fluent in English and local language.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally where required.

Desirable:

• Experience delivering ERP/IT projects in a relevant industry setting, preferably in a similar role.
• Knowledge of IFS products is advantageous. 
• Experience in business process mapping.
• Experience in a global customer-facing role. 
• Experience of data analysis and problem-solving. 
• Experience in business process mapping, leading workshops, generating business requirement specifications, enterprise application configurations, conducting customer trainings, documentation, etc.
