We are seeking to hire a Lead Business Analyst, AI to shape and drive requirements capture for prioritized use cases. The purpose of this role is to ensure we have a consistent stream of high-quality validated requirements to feed the development team which is aligned to the product strategy & roadmap.

The role suits passionate, proactive, goal-oriented candidates who are intellectually curious, and thrive in complicated but ambitious organisations. The role is well-suited to versatile candidates with a background in Business Analysis, Product Ownership, and Delivery Management. 

People with heart and ambition, and a strong mix of emotional and professional intelligence, will be successful in the role. The candidate will be working alongside colleagues including Architects, Engineers, and Delivery Managers. Outside of the team there will be deep collaboration with stakeholders in the brands and markets across all of Informa, to continually shape and deliver the roadmap as well as identify new opportunities to continue building a backlog of scalable AI capability for the group. 

Your Role: 

  • The Lead BA will be expected to present concepts and specifications to key stakeholders, obtain project estimations that they will then relay to the Product Manager & Delivery Manager. They will contribute to analysing business needs and identifying requirements, validate compliance of business requirements in quality assurance and contributes to business acceptance. As well as this the BA should contribute to measuring the requirements fit and the effect on the business goal
  • The BA’s work will be central in ensuring the teams capacity to identify and implement PoCs with emerging technologies that could benefit Tech in its march to becoming a digital business.
  • Key focus areas from our product strategy are unlocking productivity from our colleague base and to improve CX for our customers
  • Partnering with divisional stakeholders to refine requirements, and detail them to epic and story level, along with acceptance criteria. Work in lockstep with divisional Product Managers for internal and external customer validation. 
  • Collaborate with AI delivery team & divisions to support deployment of solutions across Informa Group, using best practice change management techniques
  • Manage and remove blockers ensuring the team can deliver successfully
  • In developing rich requirements for AI capabilities for Informa, two considerations are essential. You will grasp the DNA of the divisions businesses, understanding how they operate commercially & you will be savvy to how the AI capabilities align to the goal of having a set of common capabilities for all divisions
  • Deep interest in AI capabilities; the technologies, the emerging field, operationalising in the enterprise and how to truly unlock potential in a FTSE100 business 
  • Get things done: highly organised, resourceful and action-oriented with experience driving focus, clarity and prioritisation in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Commercial acumen:understand drivers of profitability and the commercial mechanics of our industry.  
  • Decision-making:ability to work pragmatically, having the confidence to make quick decisions based on the available data and move forward at pace in an environment of ambiguity.  
  • Communications and visibility:effective at managing expectations and communications (written and verbal) to all levels and disciplines in the organisation .  
  • Organisational smarts:Experience working in a matrix-based organisation, building relationships and trust across a range of teams and functions. Know and understand how to bring people with you.
