Lead Associate, Product Development (hybrid)

Reporting to the VP, Head of Product, Asset Protection, the Lead Associate Product Development is responsible for leading cross function work transforming our future of product by leading initiatives and having the responsibilities for managing our shared product relationships in the market. In this role, is responsible for managing vendor relationships, overseeing product intake, and driving product roadmap prioritization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful coordination between product vendors, sales, IT, and operations, while maintaining clear communication, resolving issues, and overseeing the development and enhancement within our product roadmap.  You will devise strategies to enhance processes, collect key data such as sales metrics and customer feedback, and collaborate with various departments to help support our product strategy.  Your responsibilities include setting goals, establishing guidelines and timelines, and ensuring the successful execution of the product roadmap. Additionally, you will liaise with key external stakeholders, customers, and industry partners. 

Responsibilities:

  • Build deep relationships and partnerships across the company and industry to gain alignment on strategy and execution
  • Build strong partnerships within the company, industry and our customers to align on strategy and execution.
  • Advise business leaders with data-driven insights to address key business issues, opportunities to support strategic business decision making.
  • Lead the intake process for new product ideas and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on input from stakeholders and market demands.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and communicate the product roadmap, ensuring timely execution and delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our product vendors, fostering strong relationships to drive product and service improvements.
  • Ensure clear, effective communication with product vendors regarding priorities, timelines, and product updates.
  • Oversee and manage special projects related to product development and outside product vendor coordination.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure the successful launch of new products and enhancements.
  • Track the implementation progress of products, ensuring all milestones are met according to the product roadmap.
  • Communicate updates and manage expectations with stakeholders throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Oversee the intake and prioritization of requests from the sales team, ensuring timely, efficient responses to ensure they are aligned with the overall product roadmap and business strategy

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in Product, Sales, Operations, and/or Data Analytics
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or similar field
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable interacting with all levels of the organization and key outside parties
  • Comfortable negotiating, influencing and effectively communicating and managing change
  • Strong prioritization, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex issues.

Protective’s targeted salary range for this position is $95,500 to $130,000. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to, job location, skills, and experience. The range listed is just one component of Protective’s total compensation package for employees.

This position also offers additional incentive opportunities through an annual incentive based on individual and Company performance.
