We are looking for a Lead Account Executive to join our Marketing Solutions team in showcasing LinkedIn as the premier place for brands to market to the world’s professionals. As a Lead Account Executive, you will take a collaborative approach to developing and delivering a sales and marketing strategy while also leading a pod where you focus on growing business from new buying groups while the CSM focuses on growing existing buying groups. The impact of the combined efforts and strength in collaboration will result in hitting growth targets. You will drive results by forging meaningful relationships and delivering customer value for both clients and agencies. 

  Responsibilities : 

  • Engage and strategize with senior-level executives at client companies or agencies to demonstrate how LinkedIn can drive revenue to their business 
  • Develop and cultivate deep relationships with senior executive clients at SVP, VP and CMO levels 
  • Be consultative and identify net new buying groups and grow client investment 
  • Fully embrace and foster a culture of diversity, inclusion and belonging 
  • Interact and collaborate across our global footprint of offices 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams across Insights, Marketing, Media Operations, etc. to collaborate on campaign activation and drive toward client goals 
  • Proactively provide smart client research and industry-specific information and trends 
  • Conceive and pitch creative marketing solutions to advertising agencies and direct clients 
  • Command, report and forecast sales activity - from prospecting target accounts and contacts to closing deals and renewing 
  • Update and create sales proposals and manage advertising agencies and marketers 
  • Generate revenue and hit target quota 
  • Mentor, lead and help coach junior members of the team – upskill and scale  

Basic Qualifications: 

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience 
  • 7+ years of experience in advertising, or marketing, or sales, or business development, and/or customer success 
  • 3+ media sales experience  

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience preparing sales proposals, forecasts and account planning 
  • Demonstrates understanding of internet advertising technology and marketing automation 
  • Knowledge and understanding of marketing buyers and marketing jobs to be done  
  • Ability to achieve results by understanding the needs of the customer and connecting a customer’s pressures with business and product solutions 
  • Ability to develop authentic relationships, remove pressure for key decision makers, and outline strategic recommendations for national Fortune 1000 companies and top agencies.  
  • Demonstrates understanding of internet advertising technology, marketing automation, measurement, etc.   
  • Experience working with senior marketing leaders in healthcare companies.

The pay range for this role is $220,000 to $335,000 (On Target Earnings). Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
