- Perform routine and non-routine testing; may develop solutions for basic technical problems. Assists in the implementation of new technologies or approaches.
- Occasional contact with customer technical personnel to effectively coordinate laboratory studies.
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Demonstrate technical writing skills.
- Informs supervisor and interacts with peers in a clear, timely and professional manner.
- Interpretation of data. Sound foundation and understanding of theory, instrumentation, and troubleshooting in multiple techniques.
- Executes routine laboratory procedures and methods with minimal errors.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, biology or closely related physical science from a four-year college/university or equivalent education and training:
- Master’s degree and >2 years related experience or
- Bachelor’s degree and >4 years related experience
- Preference for candidates with proven experience in liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry (LCMS) analysis of biomolecules.
Budget salary range of this position is $75,000 - $85,000 based on related experience.
