Due to continuous growth and expansion, Pharmathen Pharmaceuticals offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Laboratory Data Junior Officer (fixed term) to join our Quality Control team in our Sapes premises

As a Laboratory Data Junior Officer, the ideal candidate will ensure the accurate and efficient management of critical laboratory data within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

More particularly:

What you will do:

  • Receive and distribute incoming daily mail while maintaining accurate mail records
  • Set up Product QC Master Data from Technical Directives to Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Cooperate with validation team for activities related to LIMS validation
  • Ensure accurate configuration of Sampling Plans according to relevant Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
  • Set up and maintain Quality Control Laboratory Inventories within LIMS
  • Work closely with LIMS administrators and IT team to ensure seamless integration and operation of the system
  • Participate in meetings to discuss data management strategies and improvements
  • Maintain detailed documentation of data setup processes and changes for CSV purposes
  • Ensure the correct and timely entry of static data into LIMS, adhering to established data entry standards and procedures

 

Requirements

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Post graduate or Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Food Technology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or a related field
  • Previous experience is not required

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
  • Competence in PC usage and MS Office applications (Excel, Word)
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and record maintenance
  • Clear written and verbal communication to document processes and interact with cross-functional teams
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new digital tools and processes
  • Proactive approach in identifying and resolving data inconsistencies
