We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor Lawyer with expertise in US and MX labor and employment laws. As a Labor Lawyer you will provide legal advice and support to our clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters. You will be responsible for reviewing and drafting employment contracts, handling labor disputes and negotiations, conducting legal research, and staying up-to-date with labor laws and regulations in both the US and Mexico.
Key responsibilities:
- Advise clients on labor and employment laws and regulations in the US and Mexico.
- Review and draft employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Handle labor disputes and negotiations, including representing clients in mediation, arbitration, and court proceedings.
- Conduct legal research and keep up-to-date with labor laws and regulations in the US and Mexico.
- Provide legal support to clients on issues related to collective bargaining agreements, compliance, employee benefits, and workplace investigations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR and management, to develop and implement legal strategies and policies.
- Stay informed about changes in labor laws and regulations in the US and Mexico and advise clients on any potential impact on their business.
- Stay updated on labor law trends and best practices.
Requirements
- Admission to practice law in the United States and Mexico.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing labor and employment law in both the US and Mexico.
- Strong knowledge of labor and employment laws and regulations in the US and Mexico.
- Experience drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures.
- Proven track record in handling labor disputes and negotiations.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
