About the Job:

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Labor & Employee Relations Specialist focusing on French and Spanish labor law to join our team in Paris. In this role, you will report to the Senior HRBP and be responsible for managing labor and employee relations matters within these regions.

What You’ll Do:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for labor and employee relations issues in France and Spain.
  • Provide expert advice on French and Spanish labor laws and regulations.
  • Assist with disciplinary cases, including drafting dismissal letters, separation agreements, and conducting investigations and audits.
  • Lead local social legal relations materials including consultations, collective agreements, staff representatives, update mandatory documents: “DUER”, “Règlement Intérieur” etc.
  • Periodically review and update Contentsquare employment agreement templates for compliance with local labor laws.
  • Stay updated on all regulatory changes concerning labor law in France and Spain.
  • Build and maintain strong connections with external legal counsels for labor-related matters.
  • Collaborate with the People department to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits of company procedures, practices, and documents to identify potential risks or weaknesses.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of training programs on labor regulations and best practices.
  • Support employee VISA applications from a legal perspective.
  • Manage an internal knowledge base for labor and employee relations matters in France and Spain.
  • Be the primary point of contact and lead for the French CSE and the Spanish UnionHandle other project-based work within the scope of the HR department as needed.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in labor and employee relations, i
  • deally in a tech industry setting.
  • Fluent in French and Spanish, with strong English communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of French and Spanish labor laws and principles.
  • Proven experience in handling labor relations issues and managing disciplinary procedures.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional team assignments.
  • Hands-on mindset with the ability to work in a fast-moving, high-growth tech environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Legal qualification or background is a plus.
