Can be 100% remote (available regular hours in GMT-8 - GMT-5)
You will be working directly with a very experienced, small engineering team, reporting to the CTO and will not require you to manage other people. We need people with strong technical skills that know your craft.

Experience in building highly scalable distributed systems

Understands event driven distributed development
Refactor tightly coupled application logic to speed up development and deployment
Commitment to best practices and knowledgeable of anti-patterns
Lead/participate in regular team code reviews
Take ownership of new features and define their long-term health
Requirements
Kotlin JVM (Strongly preferred)
Micro-services
Spring Framework / Spring Boot / JPA
Hazelcast (IMDG and Jet)
Gradle, MySQL
AWS (EC2, S3, EBS, Cloudfront, Kinesis, Kafka)
Third-Party API Integrations
