LAC Federal is seeking a Knowledge Management/Office 365 Specialist to support a federal cybersecurity client whose mission it is to secure and protect the Nation’s critical infrastructure resilience. The Knowledge Management Specialist would support a large, multi-team branch of cybersecurity partner engagement specialists.
This position will be a hybrid of remote and onsite in Arlington, VA.
- Advise content owners on content management processes and on optimal delivery and accessibility of their content
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for a robust organizational structure for multiple teams and leadership to easily archive, locate, and query data from a shared content portal.
- Collaboratively work with client teams to increase adoption and content use.
- Develop and maintain onboarding material and provide organizational platform training and guidance on best practices.
- Provide strategic guidance and advice to the client and facilitate improvements to the organization of records, work instructions, and other relevant material to support knowledge management / transfer needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- U.S. Citizenship required (required by federal government for position).
- Active Secret security clearance required and an ability and willingness to upgrade to Top Secret.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of and experience configuring and maintaining information and task management tools such as Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, and relevant Microsoft Suite applications.
- Ability to easily communicate with senior government clients, lead discussions, and confidently discuss project status and propose solutions
- Demonstrated experience in working with clients to develop clear expectations, roles, and requirements for short and long-term projects
- Excellent oral and written communication/presentation skills
- Demonstrated expertise with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Project
- Experience in the federal government sector
- Relevant experience in administration, professional services, project management. Familiarity with cybersecurity is a plus.
- Experience supporting DHS programs or initiatives strongly preferred
- Ability to apply knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, policies, and procedures is a plus
- Customer service orientation with strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills
