We are now seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our Culinary team at our Sydney Test Kitchen (Alexandria, NSW 2015) on a casual basis. This role is crucial in maintaining a tidy, organised, and efficient kitchen environment - You will be responsible for supporting our culinary operations through daily cleaning, organising kitchen materials, and ensuring that our Test Kitchen runs smoothly.

Your role:

• Operate and maintain the industrial dishwasher, and hand wash dishes throughout the day.
• Set up and pack down the kitchen each shift, and perform deep cleaning tasks as needed.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the test kitchen and pantry, including managing materials and clutter.
• Prepare ingredients for testing and photoshoots, and ensure all equipment is functional.
• Adhere to hygiene standards, including cleaning surfaces, sanitising workspaces, and managing waste.
• Provide additional kitchen support as requested by the Test Kitchen Coordinator.

Requirements

This is you:

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean workspace.
• Ability to work efficiently and independently.
• Knowledge of hygiene standards and safe food handling practices.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to support the team.
• Experience in a kitchen environment is preferred.
