We’re looking for an exceptional Key Accounts Store Operations Manager (KASOM) to join the team at Too Good To Go to establish and lead the store ops function for Key Account partners in the US.  

 

Overview:

At Too Good To Go, we're committed to reducing food waste by connecting surplus food with hungry consumers. As a Store Operations Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward by overseeing pilot operations, providing analytics support to key accounts, and fostering relationships to optimize store performance and engagement.

 

Role:

As the Store Operations Manager, you will lead a team focused on pilot design, training, setup, and implementation to support our Key Accounts (KAs). You'll collaborate closely with Key Account Managers (KAMs) to ensure seamless execution of pilots and provide ongoing support to optimize store performance. Additionally, you'll spearhead analytics projects, identify innovative opportunities for account improvement, and contribute to the overall US strategy.

Your primary responsibility is to operationalize the commercial launches of +7,000 stores in the US in 2024.  You will excel in the following areas:

  • Leadership: Cultivate a collaborative culture, and mentor teams for peak performance, fostering continuous learning and growth
  • Hiring & Coaching:  This position will establish the Store Operations function within Key Accounts in the US.  You’ll oversee the hiring, training and development of the Store Operation Specialists.  
  • Communication:  Ability to speak to store operators and operations teams to ensure clear understanding of our platform
  • Technical Skills: Experience with sales CRM, project management and analysis tools like..  Salesforce, Ninja, Looker, Asana, as is a high competency with google drive (sheets, docs, decks)
  • Project Management:  Refine operational workflows, reviewing details to ensure they're finely tuned for efficiency, scalability, and future adaptability, leaving no stone unturned in our quest for streamlined success.
  • Analytical skills: Ability to make sense of data, take initiative on insights and report building, and increase data understanding over time.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Critical thinking and adaptability are essential for identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
  • Organizational Skills: High attention to detail and ability to work independently and efficiently on tasks, escalating when needed.
  • Cool Cucumber:  This is a new role in the US.  The ideal candidate is an individual who not only loves a challenge but also thrives in the face of occasional ambiguity.

 

Requirements

  • Industry experience that translates well include: food, hospitality, media and technology.
  • Strong accountability and demonstrated ability to effectively manage and meet key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Proactive, solution-focused mindset with a strong emphasis on growth and curiosity.
  • Polished, detail-oriented professional with a humble and collaborative attitude.
  • Data analysis skills with raw data to create performance reports and projections to identify and understand trends, opportunities and issues.
  • Enthusiasm for sustainability, food waste reduction, and environmental issues.
  • Experience with value-based selling and/or MEDDICC methodology (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
