ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Wind River is looking for a talented, ambitious, and self-motivating Account Manager, who is ready to learn and to shape the future of products, solutions, ultra-reliability and exceptional performance efficiencies for Korea Automotive market.
In this role, he/she will be responsible for a big focus on creating new business opportunities with technical background in automotive market.
Automotive market covers all main software domains including Autonomous Driving & ADAS, Cockpit, Safety, Security, Advanced Air Mobility, DevOps, Semiconductor and so on.
The Account manager shall maximize the sales of company solutions and contribute to enough business growth of Korea Automotive Team with achieving his/her assigned quota in the assigned territories.
Interface & Collaboration
Report directly to Scott Kim, regional sales manager.
You will be an integral part of the Sales team of Korea.
You will collaborate with Field Application Engineers who act as the technical point people and product specialists to close deals and create demand for Wind River solutions.
Responsibilities
- Establish a strategy to develop new customer/business/opportunity and contribute to team’s business growth
- Managing customers and cultivating new customers in line with company’s strategy
- Gathering market /customer information and sharing with team
- Observing/Understanding of customers' business problem/value/power and developing a feasible proposal with solution / plan for Value Selling
- Demonstrate Wind River credibility by communication, POC, demo, and other activities with field technical team
- Collaborate with Product management team and Engineering team to solve customers and products’ issues
- Managing distributors’ business and existing renewal deals in all vertical markets
- Building up and improving customer relationships from "in-charge" level to "Management” level
- Negotiating the terms and conditions of an agreement and closing sales
- Reviewing own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
- Developing forecasts and reporting activities to management regularly
- Communicating with the company related members and working positively from teamwork perspective
ABOUT YOU
Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success
- Minimum 7+ years’ experience selling/engineering software and/or hardware products/services
- Good communication skills and comfortable in dealing with customers

The following Knowledges and Experiences are strong plus:
Sales or Engineering in Cloud & DevOps (CI/CD/CT) related software
Sales or Engineering in embedded software and automotive market
Sales in enterprise grade linux market
- Automotive market specific knowledge/background (ex: Safety, Security, Main software domains, Major SOC vendors)are preferable.
- Proven track record of success (ex. Big deal closure, Design win etc.)
- Ability to perform ValueSelling in line with corporate’s strategy
- Ability to establish business strategy and execute it with minimal supervision
- Ability to understand customer requirements and leverage the available sales assets to move to design win
- Good attitude toward work for a good teamwork
