Key Account Manager (Sales) - Oil & Gas Metallic Cladding Services

Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia

We have an immediate opening for a Key Account Manager (SALES POSITION) - Cladding Position in the Oil Production, Refining Business, Petrochemical Midstream within the Oil & Gas and upstream division. This position will be responsible for managing and developing the cladding business with key clients in these markets with significant potential to become a major contributor to the growth and profitability of Front End.

The Sales manager should have:

  • Advanced knowledge of cladding processes (CRA/weld Overlay) with a background in welding technology.
  • knowledge of metallurgy and material requirements covering Stainless steel, Inconel, Tungsten Carbide, Chromium Carbide, Stellite, Titanium.
  • Knowledge of heat treatment processes and welding procedure of MIG, PAW, SAW, TIG Welding equipment an advantage
  • Knowledge of Destructive and Non-Destructive materials testing.
  • Knowledge on piping, flanges and fittings standards related O&G compliances and other industry MSS standards.
  • Knowledge on Welding PQR’s, WPS and their Qualification, Welder Qualification, NDT and Common Inspection.
  • Knowledge in International standards and Quality Management Systems like ASTM, ASME, DIN, ISO, API, AS etc.
  • Knowledge on ARAMCO standards, SAMSS series (02-SAMSS-012 20) related to CRA/Weld Overlay.

This position will be responsible to provide effective Sales Representation to assure attainment of Sales Objectives, this will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Meet and/or exceed the sales level for the assigned territory and business
  • Meet and/or exceed bookings objectives for the territory.
  • Meet customer needs by being a responsive liaison between the Company and customers on matters.
  • Assist in profitably meeting customer needs by being a responsive liaison between the Company and customers on matters relating to cladding of pipes, fittings and flanges.
  • Manage the proposal process and develop strategies to ensure we make the most competitive technical and commercial offerings RFP bidding
  • Support Management in the settlement of warranty disputes and field problems.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the business profitably.
  • Maintain good relationships with customers and Company’s personnel to ensure continued Market Growth.
  • Routinely report activities to Management on all pertinent issues related to market changes through use of monthly forecast and other reports as may be directed.
  • Actively participate in and provide input into the product development teams and support their initiatives.
  • Liaise with pipe, flanges manufacturer in getting competitive prices for base material supply.
  • Communicate effectively internally with; engineering, customer service, and other personnel to ensure objectives are achieved.
  • Coordinate with factory for project deliverables, project tracking involving inspection & testing, approvals etc.
