キーアカウントマネージャーは、主に製薬企業顧客との関係強化、およびクリニカル領域におけるビジネスの拡大を目的とした営業戦略の立案および、効率的な実行をします。

担当する個々の製薬企業ニーズの把握、顧客の10x製品の使用経験に基づいた戦略ロードマップを作成し、目的を達成するために必要な製品提案ならびにアクティビティの提案を米国本社とアラインしながら進めていくことが求められます。営業活動において出張があり、必要に応じて顧客と対面によるコミニケーションをします。

業務内容:

  • 担当製薬企業において、全ての10x製品ポートフォリオを通して継続的なビジネスの成長を目標とし、活動する。
  • 担当製薬企業との良好な関係を構築、維持し、ビジネス拡大のための活動を行う。
  • サイエンティフィックテクノロジーアドバイザー、マーケティング、フィールドセールス、フィールド アプリケーション サイエンティスト、および本社担当者と協力して、担当顧客のビジネス機会の創出、案件のクロージングを行う。
  • 顧客のニーズを継続的に積極的に評価し、明確化し、適切な提案をする。
  • 顧客の購買プロセスを通じて案件を管理し、正確な売上予測を提供します。その際、SFDCシステムを最新の状態に保つ。
  • 各顧客の決定権者に対して、上司と共に、積極的にトップアプローチを実施して関係強化を実施する。

必要なスキル:

  • 生命科学またはビジネスの学士号 (B.S.)
  • 製薬企業、または、バイオテクノロジー関連企業における営業経験
  • シングルセルシークエンシング、NGS、または組織学的解析分野における少なくとも 3 ~ 5 年のシニアレベルのセールス経験。
  • 高度に技術的な概念を理解し、迅速にうまく説明する能力を持つ
  • 優れた聞き取り能力、口頭および書面でのコミュニケーション能力
  • 頻繁な出張に対応できること
  • 高額機器や案件の営業経験、ソリューション提案の経験・実績を持つ
  • Microsoft Word、Excel、Outlook、およびSFDCデータベースに熟練していること

The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and efficiently executing sales strategies aimed at strengthening relationships with pharmaceutical companies and expanding business in the clinical domain. 

This involves understanding the needs of each pharmaceutical company they manage, creating a strategic roadmap based on the customer's experience with 10x Genomics products, and aligning with the U.S. headquarters to propose product suggestions and activities needed to achieve the objectives. Travel may be required for sales activities, and face-to-face communication with customers will occur as necessary.

What you will be doing:

  • The goal is to drive continuous business growth through the entire 10x product portfolio for the assigned pharmaceutical companies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with the assigned pharmaceutical companies(including named academia accounts), and engage in activities to expand the business.
  • Collaborate with Scientific Technology Advisors, Marketing, Field Sales, Field Application Scientists, and headquarters staff to create business opportunities and close deals for the assigned customers.
  • Continuously and proactively assess and clarify customer needs, and provide appropriate proposals.
  • Manage orders through the customer purchasing process and provide accurate sales forecasts; while keeping SFDC system up to date.
  • Proactively conduct top approach with managers to set proper relationship with key decision makers in each customer

Minimum Requirements:

  • B.S. in life science or business
  • Sales experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology-related companies
  • Minimum of 3-5 years senior level sales experience in single cell sequencing, NGS, or spatial genomics (or histological analysis)
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly grasp and master highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others
  • Exceptional listening, verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Capable to do travel intensively 
  • Experienced or actual result to sell expensive instruments or deals with skill of solution sales. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and SFDC database

  • Outstanding relationship building and interpersonal skills
  • Results orientated, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work effectively in a team environment
