Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our IT department as a Junior Project Manager. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the successful execution of Business and IT projects, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient delivery.

Primary Responsibilities and Competencies:

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation plans.
  • Prepare and distribute project status reports and presentations.
  • Coordinate with team, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure timely project completion.
  • Coordinate development, budget, expenses, testing, deployment.
  • Track project progress, identify roadblocks, and escalate issues to the Project Manager.
  • Assist in the procurement and management of project resources
  • Maintain project documentation and ensure proper archiving.
  • Participate in project meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed and create workflows.
  • Support the implementation of project management methodologies and best practices.

Required Education, Experience and Certification:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in project management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exposure to technical terms and teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (Agile, Adkar, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented and results-oriented.

Preferred Education, Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience with project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
  • Experience with NetSuite and Microsoft Suites
  • Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP)
