Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist

As a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our company's growth by attracting, sourcing, and recruiting top talent. You will collaborate with the TA team and hiring managers to understand the needs and engage with potential candidates to ensure a seamless recruitment process. This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn and grow in the field of talent acquisition while contributing to the success of our organization.

What will you be doing?

  • Launching new jobs on our ATS systems, conducting CV screenings, performing phone screenings, conducting reference checks, and headhunting potential candidates through various social media platforms and job boards.
  • Creating candidate journeys that align with Eurofins PSS’ culture and employer brand.
  • Taking ownership of administrative tasks related to events, training platforms, medical visits, account setups, etc.
  • Actively contributing to the development of an active pipeline of prospective candidates using research, networking, job fairs, university campus events, etc., to enable a quick and efficient response.
  • Participating in and contributing to talent acquisition projects.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or psychology. An HR-related education is considered a plus.
  • Ability to think strategically and demonstrate excellent communication skills in both English and Dutch.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with candidates.
  • Previous experience (including internships) in talent acquisition.
  • Knowledge of Belgian social and employment law is a plus.
  • An open, assertive, and diplomatic personality, with the ability to build relationships easily.
  • Flexibility, structure, proactive approach with a sense of urgency, and a strong team player spirit.
  • Strong administration skills, with a keen attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and willingness to take responsibility.
  • A full-time (40hours/week) Monday – Friday job.
  • A Permanent contract with flexible working hours.
  • The ability to work 3 days from home and 2 days from the office (in Mechelen Belgium).
  • Easily reachable by public transportation from Mechelen train station.
