Position Summary: 

We're seeking a Junior Systems Administrator to join our IT team. In this role, you'll help maintain and optimize our core infrastructure while developing your skills in modern enterprise systems.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and maintain Microsoft 365 environment, including Exchange administration
• Intune and Mosyle MDM management and Windows/Mac system administration
• Patching and lifecycle management of endpoints
• Handle user administration, access management, and basic troubleshooting
• Assist with system monitoring and alerting
• Provide technical support for internal teams
• Participate in routine system maintenance, patching, and vulnerability remediation
• Document processes and procedures
• Assist in implementing internal systems security best practices
• White glove support for our leadership team
• Assist the platform team where needed with basic-intermediate infrastructure projects 
• Help automate routine operations tasks
• Work with the platform team to maintain and improve our cloud infrastructure
• Manage Licensing for Systems
• Cost Optimization and SaaS employee use tracking
• Onboard new FTEs and Contractors using physical machines and Azure Virtual Desktop

Required Experience: 

• 2-3 years of experience in IT systems administration
• Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and Exchange Online
• Basic understanding of networking concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Self-starter, who can complete operational and IT projects with minimal assistance
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
• Terraform and OpenTofu experience

Preferred Experience: 

• Experience with Entra ID (formerly Azure AD)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Datadog
• Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge
• Basic scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
• Understanding of containerization concepts
• Help desk or technical support experience
• Strong willingness to learn and problem-solve
• Intermediate experience with AWS infrastructure
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with Datadog or similar monitoring platforms
• Github Actions experience a plus
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and Gitops
