Junior Strategic Financial Analyst (Esports)

Reporting to: Strategic Financial Analyst

We work with some of the world’s best game publishers and brands to elevate their properties into amazing esports experiences - having delivered tournaments, content and shows in a variety of games, including: Counter-Strike, DOTA 2, VALORANT, Apex Legends, FIFA 2022, Fortnite and Rocket League.

We are looking for a new  Junior Strategic Finance Analyst who will play a pivotal role in managing and analysing the costs of the business. Collaborating closely with various departments, the Junior Strategic Finance Analyst will be responsible for maintaining and facilitating the tracking and analysis of event related costs. 

Requirements

Key Responsibilities (high level)

  • Support in the creation, maintenance and improvement of newly created templates/reports for past, current and future years.
  • Support in monitoring and reviewing forecasts to ensure accuracy and timely updates. Examine cost reports and raise concerns when necessary
  • Examine costs and produce analysis reports for internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Support in the creation and maintenance of dashboards
  • Support detailed event cost budgeting process. Analyse and understand budget numbers.
  • Support with Ad hoc requests/projects.

Skills and Experience

  • Excellent excel/google sheets skills  (vlookups, pivots, sumifs)
  • Flair for evaluating problems and proposing solutions independently
  • Well organised, with the ability to keep respecting strict deadlines in a fast paced and high growth environment
  • A sense of pride in maintaining an accurate set of budgeting and tracking files.
  • Positive, “can do” attitude with the desire to take ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Possess a natural curiosity and proactive ability to quickly pick-up new tasks whilst working autonomously.
  • Good communicator, ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to quickly establish credibility with multiple non-financial creative budget holders
