As a Junior Software Engineer - student, you'll be joining the Crypto Division within a Product Engineering Department, a dynamic team that’s building the next generation of crypto-services for our customers and partners.

What you'll do

  • Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance backend systems using languages like Python (or Go).
  • Staying up to date with the latest advancements in cryptocurrency, blockchain, and DeFi to help incorporate new features into the platform.
  • Writing clean, maintainable code that follows software engineering best practices.
  • Learning and applying development best practices such as unit testing, code review, test automation, and continuous delivery to ensure high-quality software.
  • Supporting the preparation of detailed design documents and testing strategies based on project requirements.

On day one you'll bring

  • A solid understanding of backend development, especially in Python.
  • Basic knowledge of blockchain technology, smart contracts, and the DeFi ecosystem.
  • A passion for learning and improving software development skills.
  • Some experience with development best practices (test-driven development, code reviews, etc.) from academic projects or internships.
  • Willingness to work both independently and as part of a team, with guidance and support from senior developers.
  • A pragmatic approach to solving programming challenges.
  • Active knowledge of English and good communication skills.
