💻 YOUR SCOPE:
This position is the first step to becoming full time sales person. She/He is responsible for planning and prioritizing business development activities
As a SDR, you will be responsible for :
- Lead management (40% if the time) : Incoming leads are people or companies reaching out to D-EDGE in order to, eventually, if there is a fit, become clients. Because « you don’t have a second chance to make a first impression » the first contact is crucial in establishing a connection between the prospect and D-EDGE.
- Outbound calls (60% if the time) : Outgoing calls consist in reaching out to hotels and hotel groups who don’t have connection with D-EDGE yet. The objective is to generate meetings for the sales team.
🎯 WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Lead management (40% if the time)
- Handle all incoming leads:
- Call (on the phone) all incoming leads in under 15 minutes
- Create rapport with the lead
- Engage in a sales driven conversation with prospect, asking key questions in order to identify the potential
- Add all elements in our follow-up tool (CRM Salesforce)
- Be the lead coordinator :
- Follow up with leads when the relevant persons within the Sales organization
- Ensure all leads are being taken care of
- Manage relevant leads:
- Prepare accurate quotes, develop and present proposals to clients in a professional and confident manner.
- Negotiate contracts as required
- Participate in Trade Fairs and sales seminars

Outbound calls (60% if the time)
- Identify potential customers
- Identify the right interlocutor (on LinkedIn for instance)
- Identify a “hook” : something that could be improved and on which D-EDGE could bring value
- Get in touch with the interlocutor using the hook in order to have a first contact over the phone
- Follow up with the interlocutor
⭐WHAT YOU’VE GOT:
- You are Italian Native (mandatory) and fluent in english
- You have at least 2 years experience in a similar position
- You are very confortabl with phone conversations
- You have a taste for challenges and meeting targets
- You have a natural flair for sales
- You like taking initiative
- You're a good listener, curious, and quick to identify who's in charge of decision-making.
- You enjoy teamwork and are keen to progress on a daily basis
- You are organized and you know how to maintain accurate records of business development activities on CRM (Salesforce or other)
- You are curious about the market and the hospitality industry
- You have the ability to quickly assimilate and learn new products and systems
