Position Overview:
 
 
What you’ll do as the Junior Project Manager 
  
The role is to support the delivery of global Lifecycle Services projects aligned to Zones’ Digital Workplace Pillar and the markets it operates across EMEA.  The Lifecycle Services Junior Project Manager will support the LCM Portfolio Manager as well as other operational teams to own and manage the complete end to end lifecycle of projects from Pre-Sales to Initiation, Delivery, Service Transition to Closure in accordance with Zone’s Global Project Management.
 
This is an exciting opportunity for the candidate to help Zones grow within the Services space and increase its footprint across EMEA especially within the Lifecycle Services Space. The role will support the Portfolio Manager to enable the continual growth of the Solutions and the EMEA Services department by driving further maturity in our delivery to its customers that aim to transform their businesses.
 
What you will bring to the team:
 
Proactively support the LCM Portfolio Manager to deliver Lifecycle Services Projects with the following Strategic & Operational areas:
 
Enable Business growth
  • Supporting Sales team on new & existing business
  • Interface for Sales, Solution Architects, Technical Support Centre teams, wider Zones Business & PK
  • Delivery team.
  • Manage and maximize return on LCM portfolio
  • Cross/upselling responsibilities
  • Actively support UK PMO on opportunity management
Execution of Global LCM Vision
 
  • Support collaboration with GSCaaS to develop/ standardise a global sales framework, offerings and pricing
  • Support collaboration with GSCaaS to standardise Global delivery model
  • Facilitate global delivery as ‘one Zones’ across territories
  • Collaborate with GSCaaS team to improve the effectiveness of onboarding and managing 3PL partners
  • Collaborate with GSCaaS ISA team to improve efficiencies in the solutioning and SoW development process
  • Build a High Performing Delivery Team
  • Support & collaborate on Continuous improvement on existing LCM framework and processes
  • Sharing best practices for engaging customers and optimization of service delivery
Customer
 
  • Facilitate Service Proposal/ SoW drafting & execution and obtain POs as required
  • Manage specific Customer enablement Projects within the LCM portfolio (eg API Integration between Customer platforms & Zones platforms, enabling automation)
  • Facilitate Customer Onboarding/Service setup. Review kick-off deck and artefacts
  • Chair monthly/ad-hoc performance meeting with customer
Business & GSCaaS
 
  • Facilitator of Weekly onboarding call with EMEA TSC
  • Responsible for definition of lifecycle scope, pricing, P&L and SLAs
  • POC for EMEA Services scoping & Defining 3PL delivery requirements
  • Facilitate drafting and execution of PSoWs
  • Attend GCaaS /ISA weekly standup to discuss opportunities ( Customer requirements, SoW status, Issues)
PK Delivery Team:
 
  • PK Delivery Team lead has a dotted line (functional) into Portfolio Manager
  • Perform quality checks on customer deliverables
  • Provide support when engaging directly with customers (sponsor & executives)
  • Actively working with PK billing & invoicing resource and Services Accountant to ensure we are recognizing the correct costs and revenue.
Requirements:
 
  • 3+ years’ experience with Service Delivery, Project Management or business consulting, MBA preferred, or equivalent education, training or experience preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience working with executives and C-level stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of risk management, change order management, performance measurements, financial and qualitative analysis, and project/people management.
  • Extensive experience in managing multiple engagements, managing profitability, and successfully meeting the client's expectations and goals.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while staying aligned to the Lifecycle Services objectives.
  • Leadership skills that would be applied across the client enterprise and across multiple project environments, to influence client's expectations and goals.
  • Experience with business transformation and change management.
  • Experience and success in managing service level agreements with penalties
  • Experience successfully collaborating in a pre-sales environment with technical resources
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to implement effective personnel/project risk management and safety strategies.
  • Ability to work and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must have skills in five key general management areas of client relationship management, consultative selling, financial / business management, project management and team management and are usually the primary focal point for all activities on a large complex contract.
  • PMP / PRINCE 2 Certification
  • Must have a strong background in IT operations, telecommunications, and distribution network projects.
