Junior Project Manager

We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated and passionate individual to join our small but growing team in Bangkok as a Project Administrator. 

MMR is an independent, global consumer and sensory research agency specialising in food, drink, personal and household care research. This means that when you join us, you’ll have the chance to work with several well-known brands to help create, shape and develop products and packs. 

We are global leaders, guiding innovation for our clients – partnering with over 50% of the top 100 global food and drink brands. MMR is headquartered in the UK and is based across 9 markets. This role will be based in our Bangkok office supporting our Asian offices in Bangkok, Shanghai, Singapore and India.  

No two projects are ever the same, often involving exciting innovations, varied methods and international market all while working with our passionate, friendly teams outside of Thailand. 

Role 

The Project Administrator supports the operational aspects of online project delivery commissioned by all the Asia Research Teams. This internally focused role ensures that projects are executed smoothly and according to the specification set out by the Research Teams. 

Requirements

Specific responsibilities include:

• Assisting project managers in planning and executing the projects.
• Setting up projects using the internal platform and facilitating the sharing of information among relevant teams and stakeholders.
• Coordinating and sharing information across relevant teams/stakeholders both internal and external.
• Drawing up timetables for commissioned projects and communicating this timeline, and related responsibilities, to all relevant parties
• Overseeing and checking survey link – ensuring the survey accurately reflects the questionnaire, seeking help from Research Associates to thoroughly check the link and managing the provision of translations where relevant
• Monitoring the project during field ensuring quotas and timings are met and raising any issues or delays to the Project Owner
• Liaising with all relevant departments to ensure smooth project progress
• Keeping tabs on timings and budget and flagging any issues to the Research Team if anything is going off-plan
• General project admin such as document and file management and updating internal systems with project progress
• Managing general finance tasks such as raising Purchase Orders (POs) and invoices using the internal platform.

Whilst this is a junior role, the candidate will need to be able to demonstrate:

·       Good organisational & time management skills required

·       Good communication skills & the ability to work effectively with teams is essential

·       Solid Microsoft Office skills – including PowerPoint and Excel

·       A high level of numeracy

·       Willingness to travel across SE Asia to observe and conduct fieldwork beneficial (when safe to do so)

·       Experience working with planner platforms such as Monday.com would be an advantage

·       Experience in a similar project management role would be an advantage

·       Fluency in English and Thai both verbally and written is essential
